Shenanigans VI: Shilling in the Name
Greetings, friends!
This missive will be short and sweet, or maybe short and tart? Little but fierce?
News!
Do you live in the US and want your very own advance review copy of Fault Tolerance? Enter the giveaway on Goodreads! It ends in a mere four days, on June 27th, so don’t tell yourself you’re going to do it and then forget, until one night while you’re showering and you suddenly remember, but it’s too late so you let out a mournful wail that scares your neighbors. Or, if you don’t want to risk not having it in your life, you can pre-order it instead!
If you don’t own Chilling Effect already, or you’ve been pestering someone else to read it and they haven’t yet, I have more good news! The ebook is currently on sale for a mere $1.99 at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Now is the best time to dive in, since the trilogy will soon be complete. You can binge this before returning to queer pirates or space cowboys or maybe even the elusive outdoors.
Events!
My events calendar is still firming up like gelatin, so stay tuned. Meanwhile, mandatory fun times continue on my Twitch channel. My husband Eric and I have been tag-teaming Hades, which is the most fun I’ve ever had with a roguelike. I’m also nearing the end of my replay of the Mass Effect trilogy, which is very emotional, and I’m almost through the Frozen Wilds DLC in Horizon: Zero Dawn. Eric has started his own run through Mass Effect, which I am watching while trying not to interfere or make spoilery comments. It’s not easy. Come chat with us while we play!
Cool Stuff!
The second round of Camp NaNoWriMo is almost here, so to help my fellow writers get ready, I collected the 90 prompts I created for last November’s NaNoWriMo and turned them into an ebook. If you or someone you know needs an inspiration infusion, grab a copy at my Ko-Fi page—it’s free!
Cats!
I am always working these days, but thankfully I have two dedicated assistants to make sure I stay focused.
If you have any questions you'd like me to answer in a blog post or here in the newsletter, you can leave a comment on the Substack page, email me, or find me on Twitter or Facebook or Instagram. Stay safe, and thanks for joining in the shenanigans!
